    Too much Joel… Not enough Mike. The show is just better with Mike at the helm. Although, TV’s Frank kind of makes up for it.

    But, what choice do you have? Buy it!

    As a major fan of MST3K, I was very disappointed to see what tiitles were included in Volume 11. Ring of Terror was the best of the group, which really isn’t saying too much. The Indestructible Man is mediocre, Tormented is depressing and boring and Horrors Of Spider Island wasn’t that memorable either. The extras are the best things about this release. My question is why don’t they release the Finnish productions (Day The Earth Froze, Magic Voyage Of Sinbad, Sword & The Dragon and Jack Frost.)? These episodes are hilarious, and I can’t believe the rights could be that difficult to get. I realize all DVD releases of MST3K depend on rights, but they could’ve chosen better titles for this release.

    I have bought EVERY one in the series, and as long as they are made I will buy them. After having time to watch the difference between Mike leading the show and Joel, Joel is boring. Mike was a writer and then stared as the lead. Mike’s shows just seem to be a great deal funnier than the ones with Joel. There are too many episodes in this pack with Joel. I have watched the first 2 and the movies and the comedy are a bit boring. But I will keep watching and buying one of my all time favorite shows.

    I don’t have a lot of Mystery Science theater experience, but I’ve seen the official movie, and volumes 12 and 4, and i have to say that these 4 cannot touch those. This volume features joel instead of mike, I guess because its episodes are chronologically earlier, but i just didn’t find them as funny as the ones ive seen with mike.

    Great collection! I mostly liked “The Horrors of Spider Island” but it could take me a couple of views to really like the other episodes. The episodes are more funny every time I watch them. So in a month 5 stars.
