More than I had hoped. These hiking shoes are just what I wanted for my little guy. They seem to be made really well and have great traction yet are bendable. They are light weight too.

Unlike the previous reviewer, I found they were true to size. My son wears a 4 in his boots and measured a 4 according to a size chart. We bought a size 4 and he likes the way they feel. I like that there is no lacing, which makes getting ready to leave go quickly. They seem light but sturdy. The only reason I gave them 4 stars rather than 5, is I feel they’re fairly pricy for a boy’s shoe.

They are pretty and light. However, they run small. I bought this pair of shoes for my son who has been wearing size 13.5 and 1. I put these on, they are too tight and small for him. I put this pair next to his size 13.5 shoes, they turn out to be smaller than size 13.5 I would suggest whoever interested in this pair, get one/two size bigger to be safe. Thank goodness, I would save this pair for my younger boy instead of returning them back. However, I have to reorder another size 3 for my older one.
