For horizontal rails only. Does not ‘adjust to any angle’. Has small number of angles which are determined by the number of holes drilled. Actual number of holes drilled are less than indicated by the picture. If mounted on a vertical rail, cannot project the flag pole at 90 degrees.

I agree with most of the observations of the previous review.

The item looks nothing like the one in the picture.

I’m keeping it because I think I can make it work for my

boat anyway, but the photo and description do not represent

the item, other than that it should fit 7/8″ to 1 1/4″ railings

and 3/4″ to 7/8″ flagpoles. Bolts protrude nearly an inch

from the top so I’ll need to replace them with ones that fit better.

Amazon should drop this item or redo the photo and description.
