I ordered this product and it was supposed to come with a hand pump to recharge it and it was not in the package. Furthermore, the company has not returned calls or e-mails. Buyers beware.

We use it as a deterrent for other dogs to approach us on a walk. We walk our dogs in a rural area, and we keep ours under control at all times. But some people in the area just let theirs run wild. SO, we got this.

It works great to deter dogs from approaching you.

It is also rechargeable, just have to have a air compressor system at your house, which we do.

This is a great tool, very loud. However, you don’t get too many blasts from a 150 psi refil, maybe 10-15 short blasts. The can I received was much smaller than the picture portrays, and has a plastic bottom and doesn’t stand up on a table too well. Also, the actual horn (on top)with mine was blue rather than black.

Nonetheless, like I wrote, it’s really loud and a good thing to have. I’d recommend it.

Great little air horn. However, I was disappointed with the construction quality. Although rated to 150 psi, the canister bottom buckled and bulged outward at only 75 psi. The unit was pressurized slowly using a hand-operated bicycle pump with a pressure gauge. It works fine, but I’m always concerned that it might rupture when I refill the canister.

This product is well worth the investment. It maintains air pressure and saves money due to air pump refills. A must have item!
