    I owned a pair of JVC wireless headphones for years. I thought this pair would be nice since they are more compact and received fair reviews. You have to be practicallt standing in front of them for them to work. They cut out when you are standing beside them. Save your money and go with JVC.

    Watching the TV is OK, but Watching the DVD would not be good enough. Hissing……

    Don’t block the IR transmitter anyway, if u do, u will lose the sound.

    THIS HEADSET WORKED VERY POORLY. SOUND WAS EXTREMELY WEAK EVEN WITHIN SEVERAL FEET OF THE TV. THE BACKGROUND NOISE WAS LOUD ENOUGH TO SMOTHER THE SOUND WHENEVER THERE WAS SOME SOUND. HOWEVER, I WAS EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THE WAY AMAZON HANDLED THE RETURN.

    Great quality, well built, nice concept. HOWEVER: We got this for my elderly Dad, who is very hard of hearing. While connecting the headphones to the TV we discovered that, as soon as you plug them in, the WHOLE VOLUME of the TV goes away! In other words, if you will be watching TV by yourself and nobody needs to be listening to the TV in the same room, it works great. If someone else wants to watch with you while you are plugged in, they are out of luck, because the volume goes away.

    The headphones he uses now allow him to control HIS HEADPHONES’ VOLUME independently while we are able to watch TV with him at a comfortable listening level.

    Hello,

    Does this type of wireless headphone work in the car with the DVD player? I own Chrysler Town and Country, and the kids broke both wireless headphones. I will have to buy new ones, but am not sure if this will work in my car with the DVD system. Please let me know if anybody has info… Thanks!!!
