I bought this to replace a failing Dell Latitude D630 9-cell battery. The original Dell battery registered under my ACPI as 7800mAh, and had been exhausted so that it only charged to ~3000mAh. I decided to buy this battery because it had received positive reviews and was much cheaper than an original Dell battery. At first, I was disappointed when it reported to the machine that it was only 6600mAh, not the 7200 advertised. I cycled the battery a few times and wasn’t able to achieve a charge any greater than 6600. But after cycling it several times, I started using it normally on battery power, and found that when the charge decreased to about 25%, my machine would cut out when the CPU load rose, such as when playing Flash videos. It would turn right back on, but clearly this was unacceptable. This happened several times on several successive charges, so I returned it and purchased 7200mAh 9 cell battery for Dell Latitude D620 D630 D631 Precision M2300 serie…. This battery also reports 6600mAh, but does not seem to cut out when the battery is low, which is good enough for me. I still have yet to find a true 7200mAh replacement battery, but I suppose there is a reason they are so much less expensive…

I purchased a Dell D620 second hand, and needed to replace the original battery as it was completely dead. After a few days of searching for a replacement Dell OEM battery, the prices were so high I was beginning to wonder if I would have been better off spending the extra money on a brand new laptop. I saw the New Trent 9-cell battery on Amazon for under $40, and I have to admit I wondered if it was too good to be true. Based on the previous 5-star reviews, I decided to give this battery a try. I have used this battery for about six weeks now, and I am very satisfied. It holds up for at least 5 hours under normal usage. I would recommend this battery for anyone who needs an affordable replacement.

Great battery, great price, great seller. I started my battery search with dell, they wanted 160$ for the 9cell replacement battery for the d620 d630, my search ended here. The battery arrived on time and nearly fully charged, and lasts nearly four hours with the screen set to the brightest setting and the speakers in use. The battery fit my D630 without any problem and is working like a charm, even as I write this review. The only possible issue with the battery was handled superbly by Newtrent in record time. The product description says that the battery and box should have the Newtrent logo on them and to email or call the seller if the logo is not present. There was a logo on the box, but no logo on the battery, I called and emailed Newtrent and received a follow-up email and a follow-up phone call both within one hour of my request. Awesome.

I am very impressed with this new battery. I have had it for a month now and it is consistently giving me 5 hours of power! I have paid over $100 for a laptop battery that didn’t give nearly the performance! Good job and Thanks!
