I will say that I am generally between 8 and 8.5 and these 8.5 shoes fit snug. The eeee size is more like a ee. I read this on other sites so I made sure and chose the larger size. The shoes are great looking and wonderful for hiking and just walking the street. Built really well and have a firm sole for great stability. They are built great and great looking shoes. I will say that the gore-tex makes these somewhat uncomfortable for walking around for long periods of time, but I think that could be remedied by some cushioned hiking socks.
