      Oversimplified would be my review of this book. I had to buy it for college but for me, even though I am a graphic artist, the graphics detract from readability rather than enhance.

      While the intent of teaching as a visual learner was what I wanted, this book is too basic. If you have a brain and have even looked at Office 2007 you will know as much as the book is trying to teach you. I would only recommend it for someone who is brand new to computers and has never used a MS program. Not worth it for anyone else.

      This is an easy to use help book in a very visual format. This makes is easy for the “less computer skilled” user to find the information they neeed and follow the prompts to utilize the program features. I bought it for my mother who was frustrated by other instruction books as being too complicated and confusing. This lets her solve her own program questions without having to call one of the “kids”.

      I used the Office 2003 Simplified while I was in college – when I got to the working world, I bought the 2003 edition for my staff and as soon as we moved to 2007 I bought that one for my staff! It’s the best book ever! Best invention ever! My staff raves about how SIMPLE it truly is! Thank you!

      Great reference book to have at the desk, especially for functions I don’t use often. The instructions are easy to follow and concise.
