    When my kid was in 1st grade, he loved kid pix deluxe 3. But I went to best buy to buy that game for my son. But they used Deluxe 3. But Best Buy only had Deluxe 4. Then we installed and he loved it!! And he says its different, but its still easy to use like Deluxe 3. But his cousin is about 4 years younger than him, and she asked if she can borrow it. And he said it was fine because, you don’t need the disk to play it. So then she installed and it worked fine with her. But my son forgot to take it back home. Then his cousin LOST it!!!!! But then his cousin got a new computer and she really wanted it on her computer. SO she found the disk and installed on her computer. Worked fine like before. But then my son calls her and asks her if she knew where it was. She said, Yes, she did. So we went over and got it. then the first thing he does is try to install it. And when it gets to installing the Demo things. It stops for a minute and says Access is denied. (And this is on the iMac) But we have Boot Camp on our mac, so he tries it on the windows side. and it doesn’t work either! (And this is a copy we bought at Best buy) (Just a reminder) Then he tries on our old computer on the 3rd floor and Still doesn’t work. So he knew it was the disk. But then he noticed it was all scratched up. SO he gets out scratch taker off thingy. And it has only 1 scratch and it STILL doesn’t work!!! So hopefully this copy will work. SO if it doesn’t work on the mac side, we will use our windows side. And I selected Standard shipping for the shipping thing. Is that UPS, USPS, FedEx. I would like to know so i can check the tracking. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL WORK!!!

    This is a fantastic product – the fact that it doesn’t work on a particular OS has nothing to do with the functionality of the actual product. Highly recommend it for kids 5 and above.

    To program looks interesting. I have not tried it myself, but my kids use it in school and are happy that they also have it at home.

    Amazon should be ashamed for allowing their good name to be besmearched by this mess. UNBELIEVABLLY AWFUL/AWFUL/AWFUL (notice the all caps). Broderbund WOULDN’T even support their own product. The people that was supposed to support it said that I needed to stop all other programs from running. Then to top that, the software loaded some sort of program on my computer that I had to end up taking my computer to a technician to get the program off. DO NOT!! DO NOT!! DO NOT!! buy this mess!!!!!!!
