My reason for the one star rating is simply an attempt to balance out all the erroneous 5 star ratings by people who haven’t even prepared a single recipe from the cookbook. PEOPLE PLEASE…readers use the ratings on these products to help them decide if they want to purchase the product. By giving the book a five star rating without having prepared even one single recipe is misleading. For all you know, the bulk of the recipes could be horrible but not having actually made any of them, how would you know? Get the book, try out a few recipes, then give it a rating and review. At least then you’ll have your facts straight. Oh and I plan on buying the book as well. I saw the View also and was impressed by the co-hosts enthusiasm for the food, however, I’ll actually prepare some of the recipes and try them out before writing an real review on the book.

Like the majority, I watched this on the View and am buying this book because everything looked so good. Let alone the reaction from Whoopie and Joy. Not sure if the proceeds go to anything other than her pocket and wish they did, but I still bought it.

Wow…looks like we ALL were watching The View this AM. I too fell in love with that corn dip and baked spaghetti. That pork looked fantastic! I just had to order the book. I ordered the other one too just on the shot that the recipes were just a yummy looking as this one. Can’t wait to get cooking!

I also saw this on the View this morning and it all looked so good I could hardly get to the computor fast enough to order my copy. Just watching Whoopie (and the girls) so excited about the tastes convinced me it is a ‘must have’! (Trisha mentioned ‘crock pot mac and cheese’… hope it is in this book!)
