Works pretty well. I cover 4 chairs that have cushions on it that I bought from walmart. The cushions were a medium size cushion not the super thick ones. I had a problem stacking all 4 chairs because the last chair wouldn’t get over the top of the other 3 though. So I have to pull the cushion off the bottom chair which I then place on top of the chair pile. All of this and the cover fits fine. It just about touches the ground. The wind vents on both sides(front and rear) are a good idea. The material is thick and should last a while. I have only had it about 2 months nows so I guess I will see. The bottom has a draw string if you want to tighten the lose slack depending on how many chairs you have. You probably could stack 8 of those plastic chairs without any cushions under this. Its a good deal and makes it much easier than having buy and put covers on every chair. This is my first time using a cover but I want to see what impact it has on preserving the life of the cushion and chairs.

Need some chair covers that would hold up during the winter. Got to hand it to this company, especially after we had a worst winter in decades. Over 75 inches of snow…they held up nicely. Just put it away for the spring/summer and did not see any damage to it. Got the Chaise and stack covers. Both in excellant condition after our winter.

Bought in April ’09. In less than a year, I noticed yesterday that the top is dry rotted and ripped. It has been in the NJ elements for 10 months, but I would have expected a longer life than this. Also, it is water repellent, not water proof. I often found my chair pillows very wet after rain. My next cover will be more of a plastic type than this cloth material. This seems to be a better cover if your chairs will be in the garage – or at least under an awning or in the shade.

I have been trying to find an affordable cover for my four stackable sling-back patio dining chairs. This one fits so perfectly!
Update June 2010: We leave this chair cover on our open patio year round with full morning sun. The cover ripped as my husband put it back on this weekend. So in our climate/location, this chair cover lasted about 12 months. I don’t have anywhere else to store the chairs, so I will be getting another cover every year I guess.
