With Forex Strategy 10, finally I have what I need to put my feet on the ground once and for all, if not I’ll go an ape. I am among those who waste days after days looking at charts and feeling how fear assaults me, thinking I can find a way to travel around a market move from top to bottom (though curiously I’ve searched for it for a year and a half and still can’t find it) or that every trade can be a winner, or that I require hundreds and hundreds of pips per trade in order to be successful.

Rob reduced it to the simple and elemental, as I like, but mostly to what really works, leaving it clear that complexity is not what takes to success in trading. In short, the eBook provides valuable ideas for me to try and fit my own personality and style. I do not know how long it will take me yet, but with Rob’s Strategy 10 I have a starting point.

Very humorous too, that you will want to read it a thousand times, but especially very profound in content and in wisdom, the voice of experience in its entire splendor.

Thanks Rob! This is a wonderful eBook.

There is prudent advice and a proven successful strategy in this little book. Just what a novice trader wants to read. There is no substitute for experience, and Rob Booker is not stingy about sharing his experiences for the benefit of fellow traders. I always learn better when humor is a part of the lesson plan, and Rob possesses a natural sense of this. If he can find humor in what he’s been doing for the last decade…well, that just gives a student confidence he/she could be laughing all the way to the bank, too. And isn’t that the goal? I’m looking forward to implementing the 10 strategy and experiencing the mental boost derived from it, ’cause I’ve already experienced a less productive strategy – it wasn’t pleasant – lesson learned – I’ll laugh about it someday…in maybe a decade!

Air and water are practically for free, although they are essential for life!

In these few pages you will get, practically for free, the best advice so as not to be caught by the frightening bear… Rob teaches a way of getting rid of the fantasy that ends up depleting your account (never again a “revenge trade”..disgusting!!)

Instead, you will learn how to trade in a more relaxed, and profitable way! In the process you will become happier (and hopefully richer!) at least 10 pips a day.

    Highly recommended!

I have read the original Strategy 10 book a few years ago. It was nice to reread and be reminded of how simple it really is to trade successfully. Just follow your rules and be disciplined. I love the challenge outlined in the book. Do you have the disciplined to take your profit and walk away? Easier said than done! An easy book to read and I could not stop until I reached the final page. The strategies are easy to understand.

I’ve been demo trading for about 6 months now, with a little live trading in spurts with mixed results (my methods appear sound, but my lack of confidence is my own worst enemy). During my travels I’ve tried various strategies from short-term to long-term and everything in between, and I’ve come to the conclusion that short-term trading best fits my personality and level of patience. However, I’ve struggled with the fact that my risk/reward is usually pretty upside down (e.g., 10 pip limit, 30-40 pip SL), which is the complete opposite of what the trading “gurus” profess. When I first read Rob’s ebook I was comforted by the fact that he basically calls “BS” on the convential wisdom that a trader must have a 1:2 or higher risk/reward ratio or else you’ll eventually blow your account. I’ve been a follower of Rob for a while now, even attended one of his seminars, and I can tell you straight up that he’s living proof that you can be a successful trader while bucking the conventional wisdom. As previous reviewers have already stated: this book breaks Forex trading down to the basics and gives the reader sound foundations to build on as a way to build your account balance on as little as 10 pips a day (not an easy task BTW, but definitely doable). Forex trading is not easy by any stretch, but I know by the progress I’ve made in only six months that it is possible to make a nice living trading (I’ve still got a ways to go, but I’ll get there eventually) and Rob’s approach is as sound as they come if short-term trading is your preferred M.O., as it is for me.
