I’m an O/O truck driver/business man. I spend the majority of my time working. I need my phone and my CB, this is a no brainer. The bluetooth through the radio using the volume control is a dream come true. Far superior to the many other top rated bluetooth products I’ve had. Combined with a top rated radio, perfect.
I saved $75 here on Amazon over retail.
Pros: beautiful radio, %100 satisfaction with its performance.
Cons: the blue LEDs are very bright even on dim.

I ordered this for my husband, who is a truck driver, for Christmas and he LOVES it! The bluetooth works GREAT! He is able to connect his cellphone to the CB via bluetooth so that when someone calls him he can hear them through the CB speaker and talk through them through the mic while they are on the phone. The sound is very clear and not distorted on either end. He is beyond satisfied with every quality of this CB, including the way it looks and performs. I couldn’t have bought him a better CB!
FYI, this CB sells for $169+ at truck stops. I got it on amazon for $106 with free shipping! What a GREAT DEAL!

I purchased this CB specifically for the bluetooth function. I have a hard time hearing on my cellphone especially in the truck (18 wheeler)and this is just what I needed. However, this Cobra 29LTDBT will not function as advertised with all cellphones. I initially started with a Sprint Samsung M500 which it paired with, but I was not hearing the call audio via the CB speaker. I tried my wife’s Virgin Mobile Samsung and it worked as advertised. I then tried an AT&T LG-CF360 (brand new)and it would pair-up, but again, no call audio through the speaker. I would get the beeps, tones and blue blinking light, but no audio. My solution was to go with Virgin Mobile service and their Samsung Mantra phone. VM uses the Sprint network anyway and is a lot cheaper. I dont need all the bells and whistles of the major cellular networks, just good, clear voice calls. When it pairs up and works, it works great this 29LTDBT. Even with the rumble of the diesel and road noise, I can hear just nicely. Persons receiving my calls via the 29LTDBT report some echo but loud and clear just the same. So beware when trying to pair-up with your cellphone. I believe that the Virgin Mobile cellphones which have only simple bluetooth profiles (headset and handsfree), and not the complex (V2.0) profiles of the larger and fancier cellulars may be the difference.

Being on over the road truck driver I’ve always wanted a way to answer the phone and still be safe. I’ve had Bluetooth Headphones but they were hard to hear using them. The people that I was talking to spoke of poor transmission quality. After purchasing the Cobra CB w/Bluetooth I can hear the conversation over the external speaker which is about 8 inches from my head. I also purchased the Cobra external clip on microphone to clip to my collar. It,in conjunction with the external speaker, works very well and answers my needs. I’m now able to hear the communication and talk freely and keep both hands on the wheel.
