Pros: The compass is accurate and the watch had no problems at 50 meter scuba dive.

Cons: The thermometer is in accurate and so is the altitude meter. When calibrating either, you’ll find that things have changed a few minutes later. I adjusted the altitude according to my second floor hotel room (10 meters above sea level) but when walking down the flight of stairs to the beach, it stated I was now at 50 meters below sea level – go figure.

You’ll also be disappointed with its basic timekeeping if you’ve ever owned an ‘Atomic tough solar watch’ and know how you never have to worry about adjusting even a second.

The product was as described and then some. The multitude of functions is amazing. Once they figure how to stuff a GPS unit in there anyone should be able to operate it. As it is, the user really needs to know how and why he/she needs all of the functions. As a reluctant hiker (my significant other is crazy–but I mean that in a loving way)I was quite pleased to know that I had so much information literally at my fingertips–why whould one need to know so much? Was told that it WAS necessary: OK.

Well built and reasonably priced. Casio sure has come a long way since I purchased my first watch. (Maybe one bell, no whistles on that particular watch other than multiple alarms). Managed to lose it, with the multiple alarm set, somwhere in a sofa at home–I think? (was traveling a bit those days). The alarms would go off but I could never find the darn thing. Drove me crazy at first. Finally the noise just became part of the ambiance and it was a guaranteed conversation starter. We always knew what time it was in London and other places. The cats were not amused.

I love this watch. Heavy duty, large, perfect functions to use and it looks sharp too! The identical watch is several hundred dollars in stores. For the price you cannot beat this watch.

Great watch, albeit some day I would prefer to buy another one (solar powered) for the same price!
