    good value given the price.

    i like it and i think the smell can be rid off.

    i found a few ways on the net but not sure which one is the safest for the rubber parts.

    has anyone tried anything and was successful?

    I was waiting for walmart to come back to their rollback price on these Cap dumbbells,to $35.00 but the price kept going up and a week later they were at $44.00.On sat.Dec.12 I went on Amazon.com and there they were for $35.00 and free shipping. I ordered them that day and on sunday I receive an email that they were shipped and would arrive by the 15th,yeah right! Well Today they came,unbeliveable!Product is exactly what I wanted,love shopping at amazon .com Thanks for your fine service

    This is a great weight set for beginners, who need to save space and do not want to spend hundreds of dollars on a bench press set or adjustable dumbbbells.

    4 Stars: I have been using this item for 2 weeks

    The factory supplied, “O” rings- which are intended to help secure the weight on each side, are already cracking.

    I will need to replace them ASAP at a local hardware store.

    Just received this weight set today. Really happy with it,

    very high quality, and the smell some reviewers mentioned?

    To me, from years of going to Gold’s Gym, it smells like

    weights at a Gym, not annoying at all. You didn’t order

    a bouquet of flowers, you ordered a set of METAL WEIGHTS! LOL!

    In any case, they are very very well made, PROFESSIONAL

    set of weights, the handles and weights and locks are very

    complete, and I think this will last for many many years of workouts,

    and I am A+ pleased with this purchase.

    I do recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a small

    set of weights. The poor Fed Ex girl was so tiny, and this box

    is quite heavy, I told her she got her workout for today :)

    So, yes, you can do it, and you will use these, they are very user

    friendly.
