Got this because it was one of the few available when the iPhone 4 shipped… it’s cheap, ill-fitting and it’s only redeeming value is that it’s available on Amazon right now. I’ve only had it for about 30 minutes, and it’s already skuffed up by just sitting on my desk.
Don’t buy unless you really need something to hold you over until the really nice cases become available.

I ordered two different cases in anticipation of my iPhone 4. I’m very pleased with this case. Compared with the other one I ordered, this one fits much more snugly and adds a lot less bulk. The photo of the back with the diamond pattern IMHO doesn’t do it justice – it looks a lot better in “real life”. The color really blends in well with the iPhone 4 design. I had originally planned on just using one of these cases temporarily until some of the other major player’s cases became available, but now I think this one is a keeper!

Lightweight – fits perfectly. Cut-outs are spot on. Adds protection and grip. It does bother me that I feel the need to mar the slick iPhone 4 design (e.g. which has a life of 1-2 years anyway) with a rubber protector – but that is another story…

iPhone arrived today and so did this protector. It works as advertised. It’s not flimsy, good thickness to it. Not particularly stylish compared to the ones offered with a cool design but it’s also $10-20 cheaper than those. Rubber finish was smooth but some slight gray discoloration in areas (could vary from batch to batch) and this is why I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars. Many of you will want multiple protectors for style and utility. This is one of the early ones available so snatch one while you can.

To be one of the first cases available for the new iPhone 4, it is a decent case. Fits very well, has openings for all controls, good grip. It looks sleeker than the other silicone cases available. The only complaint I have is that is shows lots of fingerprints (more than on the phone itself). Other than that, its a good quality product and definitely serves the purpose of protecting the phone. For the price and 2-day shipping, it was worth purchasing.
