Bought this for $30 and it didn’t work the way we expected. The cut-in line is very bad and it’s really awkward to use. I went back to cutting in walls and trim with sash brush, which is best way to go anyway.

I have been a Profesional Decorator for 35 years, and have never came came across such poor quality as this so called edging tool, which is aimed at the professional market as well as D.I.Y. It just does not do what it states. The material has to be thinned that much that you have to give the cutting edge an extra coat, with a brush. The edge it leaves is just not sharp enough Therefore time is lost and you get a quicker and better finish with the brush. The condition it arrived in was shocking the packaging was in peices and the tray inside was beyond repair, the extra sleeves were missing, I also had to pay on delivery an extra £11.50 on a customs charge which was not made clear. My advice stay well clear of this Product.

I think another reviewer pointed this out, but until you really use it you might not realize how important this is: you cannot do inside corners with this device. It is great if you are edging around a perfectly square window frame or something, but along baseboards, doorways, and ceilings, it is almost more hassle than it’s worth. You cannot get within 6 inches of any corner, left or right, and you will either have to stop, put it down, and grab a brush or edging pad, or leave these big gaps and go back later.
When you can do a perfectly straight run, it is great and it does every bit as good a job as the infomercial shows. But for me, the frustration of not being able to get in those corners meant, I used this product once, and when I painted the next room a few days later, I went back to the by-hand method. I couldn’t see the point of doing all the cleanup for just a few extra feet of edging.
If the manufacturer simply made a reverseable model (so that the brush could be to the right of the roller instead of left), then you could just flip it over, and you could get into those corners.

The video showing is not the same w/ the actual performance of the product. Expensive and I would like to get a refund and return the product.
